Kaelen’s POV Thunder clapped in the distance, followed by a flash of lightning. I stood by the window, my gaze fixed on the droplets of rain that trickled down the glass of the window. The rain was a representation of what I felt inside. What the last couple of days have done to me. I failed. Not in two days but in five. Only two days left until the duel. My sword laid on the shelf at the side, carrying the weight of my failure.
