After a quick bath and a change, I headed to the dining area, Hazel following closely behind me.
“Your Majesties,” I bowed, with my head lowered. “Alphas,”
Cassien nodded, gesturing for me to take a seat. Riven gave the signal for the maids to serve. Hazel was solely in charge of mine. Soon, we ate silently, with only the sounds of cutlery hitting the plate filling the room.
I occasionally studied them, my eyes lingering over them longer than usual. It was a great honour to have a meal with the Formidable four but I felt uncomfortable. The silence of the room only made it heavier.
