Kaelen’s POV
“My lady,” Hazel bowed.
“Find out what’s going on,” I said, my gaze glued to the men who walked away.
They wore troubled expressions and that look towards me earlier didn’t sit right with me. My walk to the balcony was quiet. I could tell something had happened but I didn’t know what it might be.
Even though rumours from the servants weren’t meant to be used as a source for information, I could only bank on that. However, they seemed to be silenced by something.
Hazel left and returned soon after. “Did you find anything?” I asked.
She darted her eyes around before stepping closer, whispering what she found out in my ear. I nodded at the information. “Any idea where George is?” I asked.
“His room,” she replied. “I walked past there on my way here. To be sure,” she said.
