It was chill in the room, but somehow, Cassius was sweating Profusely. His occasional leg movements had woken me up from sleep in the middle of the night.
He kept on mouthing words that I couldn’t hear, and the sweat kept increasing and soaking his side of the bed.
I gently lay the back of my palm on his forehead to check his temperature, and to my surprise he was burning.
I was freaking out, I was scared, he was sick and I didn’t know who to call or my way to the hospital, it was too late to call Léa… I didn’t know what to do. “Alpha Cassius?” I called and wiggled him slightly, he winced like he was in pain and adjusted on the bed. “Please wake up, I have to bathe you, your body temperature is too high.” I added, still wiggling him.
