CHAPTER NINE
It was beginning to bother the nurse that she had become so involved with the patients.
That day she left the office early and when she got home the phone was ringing. She answered it and had quite a jolt. An old boyfriend called her.
"Well hi there Scott," she said, "haven't heard from you in ages."
"You know, Honey," Scott said, "I remember you very well from college days. Are you still as beautiful as ever?"
"Why Scott," she said, "you are quite a character. You don't think that I'm going to say no, do you?"
"I didn't think so," he said, "because if I know you baby, you're taking care of yourself and looking great. You were always difficult to date."
