The Hook

The next morning Renee woke up earlier than normal due to the amount of light pouring into her room. She cursed at herself for leaving her blinds open and realized quickly she needed coffee. The look on her face was once no one wanted to see in the morning, she looked as if someone had offended her then left off a stink bomb. She stood in front of the coffee pot waiting for it to finish and contemplating if she just wanted to say screw it and go back to bed. The later sounded nice but she needed this coffee. As she sat down on the couch and was about to flip on the TV she heard Lillian's door open but it was followed by the bathroom door closing. "ugh just get out here so I can get this over with" she thought to herself, and almost like the universe was listening, her bestie emerged from the bathroom looking half dead but had an unusual yet satisfied smile across her lips.

"hey Lily. I need to talk to you."

"what's up?" Lillian questioned as she flopped down onto their couch.

"I've always told you I won't get into your business but I wouldn't be a decent friend if no warnings ever left my mouth so here it is. I never told you about Chad because well... He's kind of a douchbag. back in middle school he was this weird looking little thing who had a big boy complex. no one ever wanted him so once freshman year hit and he filled out a bit he became king of the playground. No girl was good enough. He used every girl he met like a toy. I never judged because let's be real I do the same thing. But when it comes to you I refuse to let him treat you the way he has done so many others. That's my two cents. Take it for what it's worth."

Lillian sat back and seemed relatively unaffected. She stared off into space and Renee couldn't really tell if she was in shock or just hungover, so she piped up again, "earth to Lily!" pause "Lillian.. you in there?"

"sorry!" she exclaimed. "I'm here, just a little hungover. But I hear what you're saying and thank you for it. If red flags go up I'll run. for now I'm just gonna roll with this. Plus I have no intentions on getting tied down. But it may be nice to have someone to call when I need a release."

A puzzled look came across Renee's face. "a release? like a f**k buddy?"

"well, yea." lillian stated as she headed towards the coffee pot to pour herself a very much needed cup. "plus I start my new job in two weeks. It should be fizzled out by then." As she sauntered back to her room Renee thought to herself "I hope so"

Lillian closed her door and laid on her bed. When she rolled over she could still smell the faint hints of cologne that Chad left on her pillow from the night before. She closed her eyes and relived it all over again.

-flashback-

Upon entering her room she slipped her romper off and let it fall to the floor. With one swift motion Chad unclasped her bra and pulled it off of her as be spun her around, and bent her over her bed. His hand ran up her spine and into her hair. Once he had a fistful of it he gently pulled her back up to him and said "take these off" as his right hand tugged at her panties. She immediately obliged and slid off her underwear until they dropped to the floor as well. He then pulled her head back and let it rest on his shoulder as he wasted no time letting his free hand travel to meet her core. He slid his finger down her front until it reached her c**t and she let a soft moan escape her lips. "yep. Right I want to be" he said and he started to run the tip of his finger in circles. Lillian let her back arch and her butt met his hard member. She reached back and undid his pants. His heavy belt buckled caused them to drop quickly and she arched just a little farther letting her cheeks spread and envelope his erection.

Chad let out a soft moan and turned Lillian back around. He then crashed his lips into hers with no hesitation and they tumbled back onto the bed and he grabbed his hard member and before Lillian could object he slid himself into her, which was perfectly fine with her because objection was not on her mind tonight. Tonight was about release and she was aiming to gain just that. She arched her back and opened her legs inviting him all the way in. A satisfied smirk formed on his lips and throaty chuckled left his mouth as he stood up and pulled her up to him. Once on their feet he began to kiss her neck down to her collar bone. Lillian let a soft moan out and Chad in return said against her shoulder "turn around, and get on your knees."

He had her by her hips and with every trust she would try to run until she was braced against the wall as if she were about to be searched. "No where to run now " he said and leaned into her, wrapping one arm around her waist and put the other hand around her throat. He never applied any pressure but just the taboo of his hand being around her neck caused her to moan and begin to reach her climax. Chad could feel her beginning to tighten around him and leaned into her ear "come for me" he said and almost like a dog to a bone she did. Lillian's body shivered and just as she was finishing she heard Chad say he was about to c*m. She was about to jump out of the way when she reminded herself that he had a condom on.

Once they were finished they laid in bed for about an hour before Lillian said she thought it would best if Renee didn't catch him there in the morning. Chad gathered his things and they headed to the front door, he gave her a quick peck on the lips and she opened the door for him.

"HOLY f**k" he exclaimed as a drunken Renee appeared once the door opened. "I see no one was expecting someone to be standing here huh?" her voice dripping in sarcasm. "nope... not really." said a very embarrassed Lillian said to her friend. She turned to Chad and said goodbye again as him and Renee swapped places in the doorway.

Once the door was closed Renee headed off to her room. "are you ok?" Lillian asked. "yea. just VERY tired. I'll see you in the morning Lil." she said with her back still to Lillian as she entered her room and closed the door. "this is going to be fun" Lillian thought to herself but quickly let go of all tension and headed back to her room. Two years of no s*x had caught up to her and she was very tired herself. It didn't take long for sleep to take her over after she laid down but before it did she couldn't help but give herself a mental pat on the back. She still had it.

It had been two weeks since their first night together and now Chad and Lillian were inseparable. Renee had warmed up a bit to the idea especially since she personally saw Chad reject a woman at the club the other night. He didn't know Renee saw him and she wasn't going to say anything about it to either of her friends. She felt no reason to get Lillian's hopes up and she also didn't want Chad thinking he was free and clear. So for now she sat on what she considered a small win in Lillian's favor and just went through her days as normal.

The trio was sitting in a coffee shop talking about work when Chad leaned over to Lillian and asked her a question in her ear. Her eyes got as big as saucers and a Cheshire cat grim formed on her lips.

"seriously!?"

"yes. seriously"

"omg yes!" she shrieked. Causing the entire shop to look over with confused expressions.

"YOU JUST DID NOT!!" Renee said loud enough to hear but quiet enough to not cause anymore of a scene.

"no dingbat. I asked her to be my girlfriend"

Renee let out a sigh of relief that could knock over an elephant. Maybe she had over reacted to the whole situation. Maybe Lillian was good for him and maybe he was slowly becoming good for her. Maybe she was in an alternate universe where her middle school bestfriend wasn't a total dog. Who knows, all she did know at the moment was that they were official and everything was going to go one of two ways. Exceptionally right or horribly wrong.
