2 The casps were led to the front of one of the buildings towards the far end of town. A robust shopkeeper, and his equally rotund wife, met the Anadas on the road where the steps from their shop were designed to encourage the passerby to wander in and trade. The wife went directly to the wagon and poked around at what the Anadas had brought. The shopkeeper smiled at the Anadas and offered them entrance to his store where there was refreshment. Anada Dal handed the casps’ leads to Gage, and the Anadas entered the store. The wife, seemingly satisfied with the cargo, walked up the steps and into the store, leaving Gage alone on the roadway with the casps.
