“And what plan have you devised?” Kiersten asked.
Rosalind glanced around the group of faces again, then instructed the computer to display the 3-D blueprint of F-4 prison. All eyes swiveled to the diagram on the screen at the helm. The computer began its recitation of facts. Rosalind allowed it to continue for a short time in order for those present to understand the difficulty of the situation, then silenced the computer.
“Indicate Derek’s cell,” she said.
The computer brightened a cell at the end of a corridor, where there were a dozen cells on each side. As they watched, a black X appeared in the enclosure adjacent to Derek’s.
“What does that signify?” Marcus asked.
“That the prisoner has been removed.”
“Released?” he clarified.
“Death sentence completed.” Rosalind knew Kier
