Questions to Ponder
1) Every society has prophesied the appearance, or return, of a savior. From where do you believe these predictions originated? Under what conditions might the prophecy be fulfilled? Do you hold to such a belief?
2) There are many cultural taboos regarding interracial relationships. It is not an issue for the characters in this story, probably due to the wide range of beings each of them is exposed to that creates tolerance and acceptance. What are your thoughts on mixed-race, or mixed-religion, relationships? What about children from those unions?
