52 Sid said nothing as he followed Charlotte out of the room, down the corridor to the ramp, off the ship, and out of the research structure, after they were scanned to ensure their health. Once outside, Sid blinked up at the sky. It was late in the day, and soon would be dark, but none of the natural satellites would rise until early morning. He hadn’t realized how much he had missed the landscape of Suma until he scanned the mountains, then the outline of the city. Contentment and familiarity settled around him.
