Ryan fled all the way to the west end of the city where he found a restaurant with “HELP WANTED” on the front door. He decided to apply for a job to earn a living. Idling away time was not his way of life. “Hello, I’m here to apply for the job. Is there still a vacancy?” The restaurant owner looked up behind the counter with a big smile on his face because he had run short-handed for quite a few days. However, as soon as he found Ryan, his face darkened. “Yes, we do have vacancies available. But I can’t hire you.” The owner spoke without reservation and the way he spoke actually made Ryan offended. Ryan was annoyed so he decided to argue the point. “What do you mean?
