Linnet’s father was relaxed when those loan sharks went out of his sight. Linnet supported him to the sofa where he took a seat.
“Are you all right, dad?”
Linnet’s father had been badly hit and was unable to move just now, thus Linnet worried a lot about his health condition. To her delight, her dad shook his head, telling her not to worry.
“Thank you so much, young man. Without your help, we couldn’t have survived this crisis.”
Faced with his gratitude, Ryan replied with a knowing smile because he was just doing the right thing.
“I hate loan sharks. They are nothing but greedy predators.” Ryan said seriously.
He hadn’t planned to drop Linnet and her father a visit after he left Marvis’ residence. But he heard about their business crisis on the way to his shop, so he came to check.
