ARIADNE'S POV
"I need your help with something, Shawn." I said and he stopped eating his food to look at me.
"Oh? What is that?" He asked.
"I need your help to search for the owner of this bracelet." I replied as I took the bracelet out of my pocket where I had kept it since evening.
Shawn dropped his spoon and collected the bracelet from me. He held it up and studied it, noticing the inscription on the bracelet as he murmured "C. J. W." under his breath.
"This looks so freaking expensive. Where did you find it?" He asked with a curious look on his face.
I couldn't really tell him that I found it at a club room where I had s*x with a stranger who could be the father of my kids so I had to lie to him.
