ARIADNE'S POV
Evening
I had just tucked the kids into bed for the night and was resting on the sitting room couch when I heard the door bell ring I groaned as I stood up to go see whoever was at the door. I looked through the peep hole and saw that it was Shawn.
I smiled as I opened the door for him.
"Hey, Shawn." I greeted and hugged him. It didn't take me long to notice that he had a few bags in his hands. Did he get us gifts again?
"Hi, Ariadne. How are you doing today?" He asked me and I smiled again.
"I'm doing fine, thank you. You came back quite early from work today, is there a problem?" I asked and he shook his head.
"We were just let off early, that's all." He said and I remembered that we were still standing at the door.
