We finally arrived there and he got out of the car first and helped me to open the door like I couldn't do it myself. His chivalry was very much appreciated though. The venue was a hall. It was very big and looked really beautiful, like those kind of halls you see in Hollywood movies where the best formal parties take place.
Shawn held out his arm for me and I placed my hand in it. His big hands were totally different from my soft and small ones. We walked slowly as we got to the stairs that led inside the building and Shawn helped me climb the stairs.
