CONRAD'S POV
I had gotten to the office very early that day, because I couldn't really sleep the night before, but now that I was in the office, the sleep that I had lost was weighing down on me.
"Hey, Jane, cancel all of my schedule for the afternoon. I'm really not in the mood to do anything this morning."
"But sir, you have a meeting with the HR director this morning." She said.
"You can just postpone that till later in the afternoon." I said dismissively.
"Okay sir, I'll leave now." She said and was about to go when I stopped her.
"Hey, tell anyone that comes to look for me that I'm not on seat, okay?" I said.
"Okay, sir. I'll make sure to do that." She said and left.
