Next Morning
"So you're going now, huh?" I asked, looking at Alyssa with unshed tears in my eyes as we stood outside my door.
"Unfortunately... I have to go because of my business, since I don't have any employees and I can't afford to miss any more days." She explained.
"I understand, I'll miss you so much, Alyssa..." I said as I engulfed her in a hug.
"I'll miss you too." She mumbled as she hugged me back. "We'll talk on phone though, via FaceTime, w******p video calls, f*******:, Zoom and even Skype!"
I couldn't help but laugh at her words.
"We'll use every app that we can find..." I giggled and she laughed.
A ding from her phone distracted her and she looked at the screen before looking back at me with a sad smile.
"My ride is here..." She sai
