ARIADNE'S POV
I couldn't explain the amount of shock that I felt at that moment. I was frozen still with Shawn's lips still on mine. I never had him to do that. Hug me, maybe, but kiss me, no.
Because I had gasped, Shawn took the opportunity to take my bottom lip into his mouth. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close to him.
I tried to resist by pushing on his chest, but his hands held me tighter. I didn't know when I relaxed against him and let him kiss me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back with the same vigor.
I could feel a lot of emotions coming from him through the kiss. It wasn't just an ordinary kiss. It felt like he put all of his heart into it and I didn't want to let him or myself down. I was enjoying it.
