Richard frowned as he looked at Tonia, still standing by the door.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, his voice a mixture of confusion and irritation.
Tonia smiled, unfazed by his tone.
“I missed you, Richard.” She stepped into the room, walking toward him with an air of confidence. “I missed us.”
April froze, her heart pounding in her chest. Missed him?
