Are you okay? Ryan asked. Was that concern I heard in his voice?

Yes yes, I managed to reply. I must have looked stupid standing there and behaving like it was the first time seeing a man almost naked.

I just didn't expect to see you underdressed .

Not like it's your first time seeing a man naked so what's the fuss. He asked snorting

I don't like to see the nakedness of a man who am playing pretend wife with” I replied scoffing

Legally wedded husband, don't forget that. He countered

He just rolled his eyes and went to the bathroom to take his bath.

I quickly moved to the bed , got in and covered myself with the duvets . I arranged pillows in the middle to prevent anyone from crossing their boundaries .

I picked up my phone and busied myself with it to pass away the time before I fell asleep. I couldn't help but remember Ryan barely ate. Wasn't he hungry?

Why should I care about him? If he's hungry or not. He's a grown adult who can fend for himself.

Kindness is a beautiful gift that every human should possess. I suddenly remembered my father's words. He had always taught me and my brother to be kind.

Oh, how I miss them…… I was certainly going to pay a visit to them as soon as I can.

I would be the kind person today. I decided and with that, I put on my flip-flops, and my nightie robe and headed out to the kitchen. Everyone would already be asleep by now I can tussle up something real quick.

I went downstairs as quietly as I could and made my way straight to the kitchen.

The workers had done a good job cause the kitchen was all white and sparkly.

I turned on the lights and went to the fridge. It was stocked up with anything I could think of. Cheese, ham bread, cookies, raw veggies, the list goes on.

I quickly brought out the ham bread, some cheese slices, and hotdog, and all the ingredients to make a quick sandwich. I needed to make something real quick and I didn't plan to disturb anyone along the way.

I was halfway through the sandwich when a calm voice made me turn.
