I clung to Cody's hand and Lily's as we stepped into the darkened hallway that led to the cells. Luckily it was wide enough for us to walk three abreast. Jessup, having been here many times before, was leading the way, walking several feet in front of us. We all said hello to Cam and Mike, the two guards that sat just inside the doorway.
"Everything going ok in there today?" Cody asked them.
Cam shrugged. "The she-wolf pitched a hissy fit when she couldn't have orange juice at breakfast, and again when she wasn't given a Coke at lunch, then again - "
Cody held out his hand to stop him. "In other words, Katya is being herself."
Both guards snorted. "You can say that again," Mike replied with a chuckle. "Other than that, all has been fairly quiet today."
