*Three Days Later*
Todd came running into Cody's bedroom, which I now shared with him. He was waving an envelope in excitement. "Look, Can, the results!"
I put down the book I was reading and laughed. "Do you ever knock, bro?"
He shrugged. "Cody's out checking patrols right? So I knew I wasn't walking into anything."
I gave an exasperated sigh. "I could've been changing clothes, you know!"
"But you weren't," he pointed out. "You were reading, like always."
I laughed again and shrugged. "Bookworm. Guilty as charged. So, what's the results?"
"I don't know yet! I was waiting on you to open them!" he said excitedly. "It's like, even though I KNOW what they're going to say, I can't wait to see it in black and white!"
