"Where could Darrell be?"
Jack thought to himself as he briskly drinks from a cup of hot cofee.
He looked really worried.
"I just hope nothing has gone wrong" he adds and inhaled deeply.
All of a sudden a figure appeared behind him.
"I shouldn't have allowed him to go out"
Still thinking to himself and he turns to go somewhere else.
"Uhh"
He said startled at the sight of the figure.
"You look worried Jack"
Said the figure.
"Melissa! Why are you here?"
Jack asked surprised.
"Don't tell me you are surprised to see me"
She said and laughed.
"And why shouldn't I be, we have no business" Jack asked
"Well destiny is about to unlock itself and Darrell is.." Melissa said
"Darrell? Where is he I hope he is safe"
Jack cuts in.
"Well he is but not for long" Melissa said and walked towards where Jack was seated.
"What do you mean?" Jack asked confused.
"You know Darrell has a destiny to fulfill, a quest to safe us all" Melissa said and took the cup of coffee from Jack's hand.
"He is too young for that, and besides he is inexperienced there is no way he can defend himself" Jack said really sad.
"And that is why you have to get him ready, he needs to know the truth, it's the only way and you know it" Melissa and drinks from the cup of coffee.
"He needs more time, he is not ready" Jack said.
"Give the boy a chance Jack, besides his life is in danger" Melissa said and she took another sip.
"Danger? What happened?" Jack asked standing up.
"Well am guessing he went to Norma Elspeth lair and I think she saw him and she is now at the verge of destroying him" Melissa said and chuckled.
"Oh no, I can't, I promised his mom to keep him safe, I shouldn't have allowed him to go out"
Jack said wailing he is now seated on his couch with his head slightly bowed down.
"You cannot change destiny, tell him what he needs to know and train him to be the man he is meant to be, I am off Jack but make sure you do as I have said" Melissa said and then disappears out of sight.

Alyssa and Norma Elspeth are sitting at the dining room, a lot of dishes are placed on the table and they are eating.
"Hope you are enjoying your meal"
Norma Elspeth asked looking up at Alyssa's face.
Alyssa was clad in a blue velvet gown that was slightly above her knees, her long black hair was nicely packed, she also had a simple make up on her face making her look more beautiful and she was also wearing a gold necklace, she looked ravishing with a smile on her face. Norma Elspeth gave Alyssa all this things
"Yes mum, it tastes really nice"
Alyssa answered happily chewing her food.
"I am glad you like it" Norma Elspeth said and smiled.
Norma Elspeth was clad in a black sleeveless robe she was also wearing her golden bracelet at her upper arm on her right hand.
"I am really happy mum, I just hope we continue like this" Alyssa said still chewing her food.
"Of course Alyssa we can continue like this if that makes you happy" Norma Elspeth said with a smile.
"Yes mum, it will really make me happy" Alyssa replied with delighted eyes.
Then they pause for a while with all their attention focused on their food.
"So, about the boy that came yesterday, I can see that you like him" Norma Elspeth asked looking up sternly at Alyssa's face.
"Ermm, what are you talking about mother"
Ayssa gulped nervously before trying to answer.
"Oh come on Alyssa, am your mother you do not have to be scared, talk to me, do you like him?" Norma Elspeth asked still looking at Alyssa.
"I've just met him once why do you think I will like him" Alyssa said trying hard to avoid Norma Elspeth's eyes. Her heart beat increases with pace.
"I saw the way you both looked at each other and also saw you guys talking to each other, you can tell me Alyssa I promise not to be angry after all you are no longer a kid, you have grown into a very beautiful young woman, and I have been watching you after you met him you seem to be very happy like someone in love" Norma Elspeth trying hard to suppress her anger.
"I - I do not know what you mean, mother" Alyssa said with fear creeping into her spine.
"Tell me the truth Alyssa"
Norma Elspeth asked feigning annoyance. Her eyes were visibly turning red.
"I am not sure" Alyssa said looking really scared.
"Ok then I want you to tell me his name" Norma Elspeth asked calmly.
"I do not know his name" Alyssa replied.
"You dare lie to me?"
Norma Elspeth asked furiously, she quickly stands up and angrily hits her hand on the dinning table, then suddenly the atmosphere changes and the whole room starts shaking like an earthquake.
"I am not lying mother" Alyssa said she was really scared.
"You are such an ungrateful child, I ask you for just one thing, you can't do it right?, You are useless to me everybody is useless" Norma Elspeth said shouting, her eyes were now visibly red, as her face fumed in anger.
Then Norma Elspeth starts walking towards where Alyssa was seated, as she walked it was like the room would break into two, as the sound of the earthquake became more visible, the walls were cracking and the dining table was shaking violently, fear gripped all over Alyssa as Norma Elspeth came closer to her.
"You are just an ingrate, a betrayal just like your mother"
"I hate you"
Norma Elspeth said looking straight into Alyssa's brown hazel eyes.
"My mother?, You are not my mother?"
Alyssa asked surprised.
