After so many discussions on what we were about to do on this adventure park, Evo finally decided that we should part our ways for a moment so that we would be able to put down the things that we have brought on this park. We had decided to go on the designated room that has been given to us the moment that we took a step inside the Lost Soul’s Forest.
Actually, I did not think that this room was fit to be called just a room, because we were given a h*cking huge cabin that could fit two to three people, but for some reason, I was the only person that would occupy this cabin; and I think that was also the case for the other six.
I could not believe that the school would spend so much money for all of us. I could not believe that they would agree to this choice of ours, but then again, it seems like they really wanted to insist that this was nothing compared to what we did for our University.
Though I clearly did not have any idea on what we did to deserve this, but maybe, it was because we were the first students that managed to make the Section A open once again, after so many years that its discussion has been delayed and delayed, for some reason that I also did not have any idea on what it was about.
Well, I guessed that I should just enjoy this privilege that they had given to us and made us experience. After all, Ms. Madison already said that this would be the first time in years that something like this would open up for the students of Pristine University. This would be the only time that something like this would be opened for us, after a thorough discussion that all of them had in order for this to be approved.
I should just enjoy all the activities that I could do around this park. I should just also enjoy the fact that I was here with the people that I got really closed to, in a short span of time; even though Ms. Madison was not around for some reason that we still did not know about and I knew that we would never be able to know, if she would not tell us anything about it at all.
I let out a sigh as I nodded my head, before I looked out at the window of my place as though I wanted to have a peace of mind, because it seems like I got so tired because of the long travel that we had before we could even reach this place. It felt like I became so tired, because all we did inside the bus was to talk to each other about all the things that we could think of that was why we were not able to get any sleep at all. It was also given that we had woken up so early in the morning because of this trip, and now, it felt like I was already suffering with the consequences that I had gotten because of what I did earlier today.
If I had known that they still had too much energy even after all that had happened, and if I had known that they would act like they still had some time to create some s*lly acts and jokes inside the bus earlier, I should have already told them that I would not do the same.
I should have already said to them that I would just take a rest, because unlike them, it felt like I had already drained my energy even though I clearly did not do anything other than getting up so early in the morning and travelling for hours, for almost half a day to be exact.
I was not accustomed with this kind of thing though. I was not accustomed with travelling for hours without even stopping at some stop over along the way. I was not accustomed with getting up late and had to face a problem at that kind of time of the day, and that must have been the reason why it felt like I was too tired and could not do anything at all. That must have been the reason why it felt like all I wanted to do was to lie down and do absolutely nothing at all, and would just do every single activity on my mind for later, or maybe, for tomorrow.
I nod my head, absentmindedly, once again as I continued to stare at the window of my cabin, watching the sun that was still high up in the sky because it was still one in the afternoon, as though I had decided that all I really wanted to do was absolutely nothing and I would just continue to stare at the vast surroundings in front of me.
“Yeah, I should do just that because I am really so tired and I think that they will understand what I was about to do,” I whispered to myself, as I nodded my head, absenmindedly, once again. “They must be also tired that was why I knew that I was not the only that would do something like this,” I said to myself once again, as I nodded my head, once more.
I was just about to do what I had said, sleeping on my cabin to cope up with the tiredness that I was feeling, because I really thought that they would also do the same, but then again, before I could even prepare myself to sleep until my heart’s content, I had heard a loud knock on my door, which made me almost want to mess my hair out of irritation.
It felt like whoever that someone behind that door, he or she had already ruined my day, and my supposed to be a night full of sleep. It felt like it ruined all the mood that I had earlier, though I must say that what I was feeling earlier was not that good at all because all I had on my mind earlier was to sleep and would not care about the world.
And so, even though it felt like I was absolutely irritated by the loud knock that made me startle just a minute ago, I have decided to open my door because I thought that there was some emergency or something like that.
After all, the knock that I had heard earlier was so loud as though the person on the other side of the door really needed to see me now because of some reason that I did not know about, and for some reason that made me feel irritated for no end; though again, I was only feeling like that kind of way because I really think that they had ruined my mood and my plan for the whole day.
I let out a sigh as I already knew that I did not have any choice but to really open my door, because it seems like whoever it was, they really needed to talk to me as they still did not stop from knocking on my door - or maybe it was because I was not doing anything at all even though I have heard it the first time they ever knocked.
That made me let out a tired sigh once again I shouted, “Wait up!” so that the person on the other side of the door would be able to hear what I just said to them, clearly.
I reluctantly stood up from where I was sitting earlier. It was evident that I was really tired and all that I wanted to do was to sleep, but it seems like the person behind the door would not really let me, so I just resorted on giving up my plan and open my door so that I would be able to know why the h*ck would they knock the door at this kind of time - and again, I was just saying this because I was really tired and all I wanted to do was to rest.
“Who is it?” I asked as I opened the door, but I stopped when I saw the person behind the relentless knocking earlier. He ruined my mood even more as the tired smile that I had on my face earlier was gone as I looked at him with sharp eyes. “What is it now, Cloud?” I asked him as I did not bother to hide the tired tone on my voice any longer.
I was not really on the mood to have a sarcastic conversation with him as of this moment. I did not like the idea that I would waste my oh so little energy that was left inside of me, because of him, the person that was knocking on my door non-stop for almost five minutes now.
If that was the reason why he was here, I did not think that I would have enough energy to even reply some smart remarks to him, unlike before that it was just alright for me if we were bantering with each other for almost half a day.
I really thought that was his reason why he was in front of me as of this moment. I really thought that he was here because he just wanted to annoy me. I really thought that he would do just that the moment that I opened my mouth to speak, but then again, I had seen how he raised his arm as though he had surrendered. It was as though he was saying that he was not here for that.
And assumption of mine was confirmed when I had heard him say, “Hey! I am not that bad, you know?” as though he was defending himself, with a frown on his face as if he was confused as to where I had gotten that thought. “I am here because Evo had instructed me to get you. it seems like he still wanted to say something to all of us, that is why he had gotten on his way to tell me to fetch you.”
“Why did he not call me?” I asked him with a confused tone on my voice as I even checked my phone to see if I had just missed it, but I never seen any single text other than the one that I had received from my Father this early in the morning.
He let out a sigh of exasperation as though he was really annoyed with me, though I did not know why he was suddenly acting like that kind of way as of this moment. I was too tired to think of anything else, and I doubt that I still needed to think about it, thoroughly, because it seems like he was about to say something to me.
“He did not have your number.”
I looked at my phone as I was hit by the sudden realization and all I could do was to say, “Oh,” as though it never really occured to me that that was the case that was why he still needed to come into my room just to tell me that Evo was calling for all of us.
“Yes, oh,” he said, the sarcastic tone on his voice was still evident and it was enough to make me feel annoyed, but I still tried to calm myself down because I did not really have any energy to have a fight with him. “Now, let’s go because I did not really want to think that Evo would get angry to me once again because of you, woman.”
I glared at him as I felt that he had pushed me so that I would be able to walk ahead of him, but then again, I did not say anything any longer as I already knew that it was not far from the truth that we would see an angry Evo if we would not hurry - and I absolutely did not want that idea, not even in the slightest.
I just continued to walk and I felt that he was following me, but then again, I stopped when I realized that I did not know where I should go. It seems like he had also thought of that because I heard him let out a loud sigh once again as he lead the way for me. I just decided to follow him, because I did not like the idea that I would be lost in this large park because of my own pride.
It made me shudder that was why I just decided to follow him as i already knew that he would never do something funny. After all, Evo was the one who instructed him to come and fetch me, so I knew that he would never do anything at all as I knew that he was the only person that Cloud was really listening to.
After a few minutes of walking, I had seen that Cloud took me to the main building where the cafeteria and other indoor activities was being held. I did not ask him what we were about to do there, and just decided to follow him until we had reached a huge dining table that had too many foods.
I even saw that the other five was already on that place and was patiently waiting for the two of us to arrive. There were even eating utensils that I think was designated to the two of us, and I just decided to take a seat beside Winter and Evo as I already knew that nothing good would happen if I would choose to stay beside Cloud.
Cloud had also done the same, before I had heard Evo said, “I was shock to see that it did not take thirty minutes for the both of you to arrive,” and I knew that he was making a joke but I did not bother to laugh because I still felt so tired and just wanted to sleep - though I knew that I would never really able to do that at all because it seems like he wanted to tell something to all of us.
Though it seems like I was the only one who was thinking like that, because I have seen that Cloud was about to say something to him, but then, before he could even do something like that, we all had heard a ring tone indicating that someone had gotten a call.
I looked around the place to see whose phone was ringing, and I just realized that it was Evo’s when I see that he had reached something inside of his pocket, which was his phone and I saw how his eyes immediately lighten up when he saw the name of he caller.
“It is our adviser,” he said to all of us, which piqued our interest.
“Then, you should answer it and put it on a loud speaker so that we will be able to hear what he was about to say,” Thunder had said to him, which made us nod our heads because we all knew that would be the best thing that we could do as of this moment.
Evo had also nodded his head as he had answered the call. I even braced myself to hear Ms. Madison’s familiar voice. I prepared myself to hear her always cheerful voice, but I frowned when I heard an unfamiliar tone of voice that I had never heard before.
“Hello?” It was a voice of a man that I have never heard before. It was like a different person that I never knew, and I was a hundred percent sure that it was not Ms. Madison.
After all, I was so sure that it was indeed a voice of a man, the total opposite of the soft voice that Ms. Madison was always using for all of us. I was so sure that it was another person, but it seems like I was the only one who was worried about this because I could see the way a huge smile was formed on the faces of the people inside of this room.
It was as though they were too excited about the fact that this ‘adviser’ they were talking about was the one who were calling them. It was like they have anticipated this moment, and I was the only one who was confused about the things that has been happening as of this moment.
I frowned because I was not buying anything at all, and was about to ask to confirm who that person is, but then again, before I could even do something like that - before I could even point out who that person on the other line is, that man suddenly talked to us once again, which made me frown even more because it gave me chills that I never felt before.
“Have the six of you already arrived?” he asked in a curious tone, and I did not know why it felt like I badly wanted to run away as though I was so scared of doing anything other than that. “I have been waiting for you, guys! Why are you taking so long?”
