Reincarnated Three Times

Seated on the business class was a woman, peering over the expanse of clouds through the oblong-shaped window. This euphoric and calm scenery made her sink into deep thought, orchestrating her introductory lines and recalling all the memorized information about the new throttle engine that she had developed for NASA’s space rocket. It was coined revolutionary by scientists in America. If her design works the way she describes it, she will receive a premium amount of money that will help her company to grow even more. She was only the CEO of the weapon industry specializing in all aspects of military, Air, Sea, and Land. Selling weapons to foreign nations, mostly allies. She had never sold any weapons to China and Russia, sparking their ire against her and placing her Persona Non Grata in those countries. Now, on her way to Texas from Japan. She peacefully closed her eyes to sleep, knowing that when she woke up, she'd be in America. However, something whizzed by the plane. Something that made her soul shudder to the bones. It was no ordinary wind that flew past them. It sounded supersonic. Alexandra peered through her window again and saw a metallic bird flying at the same airspeed as their plane. Using her extensive knowledge about aircraft, Alexandra immediately identified the aircraft as Chengdu J-20. Also known as the mighty dragon and the main fighter aircraft of the People’s Republic of China. However, what’s that aircraft doing here? She steeled her thoughts trying to find a reason but there was none, clueless to what was happening. Everyone on the plane was attracted to the sound it was producing, making them have mixed feelings of excitement and nervousness. To see a sophisticated aircraft this close was joyous but not knowing what it’s doing there made them feel apprehensive at the same time. While sunk in her thoughts, Alexandra watched the fighter aircraft perform an Immelmann Turn, losing her sight on it. Moments later, there was an explosion that rocked the aircraft and tilted to the side. Looking through the window was an engine in flames. “What? They attacked a passenger aircraft?” This explosion stunned her while everyone screamed in terror. And in the midst of all that, she steeled herself with her fist clenched. [Emergency Situation! Emergency Situation!] The pilot’s trembling voice rang throughout the airplane. [Ladies and gentlemen, one of the main engines have stopped functioning. Please prepare for an emergency escape. I repeat. Please prepare for..] The passengers’ faces all turned white. Emergency escape? The plane was currently 10,000 meters above the Pacific Ocean. If they made an emergency escape here, they were basically committing suicide. Despite her countless achievements, her entire body trembled. ‘No, I can’t die like this again! I wasn’t able to achieve happiness during this life either. I was just about to become happy!.’ Her name is Alexandra Whites. She was a CEO, aeronautics engineer, and the youngest person ever to be a professor in Harvard John A. Paulson School Of Engineering And Applied Science. Master in Engineering, Lady of the Blueprint, The Genius of the Century. A monster. There were countless nicknames like these for her, but what did that matter? She was about to die now. ‘I wanted to be happy in this life.’ Tears dripped down her face... This was already her second futile death. Her past two lives flashed by her eyes; the first life she had was in another world, not on Earth. Catarina Eisenberg. She was born as the daughter of a noble family and managed to become the Empress, but she had been sentenced to death after being blinded by greed and jealousy. ‘Why did I live like that back then?’ She didn’t even want to think about it. She still felt sorry for all the people she had wronged, even if she couldn’t tell them herself, especially to her family. Her loved ones had died because of her. If only she could meet them again. Of course, that was only her wishful thinking. Her past life’s faults remained buried in her heart. And her second life–Alexandra Whites. She had been born as an orphan and endlessly worked to get where she was. She graduated from high school early, entered Harvard John A. Paulson School Of Engineering And Applied Sciences with the highest scores, and became the youngest professor ever at the University! She worked hard to pay for her past life’s mistakes as an engineer, who helped people. Now she was about to achieve her dreams, and finally, become happy. But she was going to die!! It was then! Bang! Another explosion occurred at the opposite side of the plane, plummeting towards the ocean. With the smell of something burning, she realized she was going to die. Even emergency escaping was impossible now. She tightly shut her eyes for the incoming horror. ‘Ahhh…!’ Just why? All of a sudden, she remembered her family members from when she lived as ‘Catarina.’ Her serious father, her older brother, who was strict but always put her interests first, and her second older brother, who always took care of her generously. The people she didn’t realize were special until it was too late–she missed them. Was it because of the crimes she had committed? Even though 33 years had passed, her longing for her family only grew. ‘If I could only meet my family one more time…then…’ And it was at that moment. Flash!! With a boom, her entire world was covered in light. And that was ‘Alexandra White’s last memory. That was how her second life ended. … A blurry black and white scaffold. A woman was tied to it, her entire body drenched in blood. The fancy clothes that she had worn as a noble were unrecognizable, and the angry onlookers continued to scream at her. “Die! Die!” “You villainess!” Pow! A rock was thrown from somewhere and hit her head. Drip. A vibrant red liquid trickled down her face, but no one pitied her. Everyone was cursing at her, their faces full of anger. “Do you have any last words?” asked the emperor who stood in front of the scaffold. He had once been her husband, but now there was only cold hate reflected in his eyes. The Emperor spoke in a bitter voice, “The Marquis…your father and your brothers died. All because of you!” “…!” “They all worried about you to their last breath. They begged for your life to be spared.” At those words, grief and regret filled her eyes. But it was too late. “Apologize to them in hell.” The Emperor coldly announced her death. And the gruesome guillotine fell on her neck. Flash Alexandra shot her eyes open “It was a dream again…” She shook her head. Her past lives; were dreams of the villainess of the Empire, Catarina. “But what in the world happened?” She looked down at her body. “I died….” But she was alive at this moment. And in an extremely familiar body at that. She exhaled deeply, looked in the mirror, and noticed her gold hair, and a doll-like face. Catarina Eisenberg She had returned to her first life!!
