Zeke’s POV The last six years have been mental. Since that fatal day in the car park of the travel lodge, none of us have heard from Mum and Dad. It was a relief. None of us had wanted too, and it wouldn’t have ended well. We figured they knew better. The only way they could continue with their lives as they wanted, would be to move on and lie about us. We were more than happy to let them say what they wanted; we had no intention of ever returning. We moved into our two-bed home and made it our own. But soon found, despite it just being the two us, we didn’t have enough space, so two years ago, we sold and moved to a three-bed detached home about three streets away.
