I took it curiously and inside was a small box. I opened it gingerly and there was a chunky silver matte ring. Etched in the silver it said ‘Pure Love Waits’ and on the inside ‘Always Yours’.
I looked at him as I took the ring out of the box. Love filled the pools of his deep blue eyes but worry shadowed his beautiful features.
‘Ezra, it’s beautiful, I, I don’t know what to say, I love it. Why do you look so worried? Did you think I wouldn’t like it?’
