Aira’s POV
I paced my room nervously for days.
It would take days for the courier to get to Erupting Eclipse, and for Knox to respond, but I still fidgeted the whole time, jumping every time a letter came. Aaron would’ve told him about the pregnancy, since he’d overheard along with my sister. But my letter would explain everything to him in my own words.
I wondered if Knox would send something back. I hoped he would. Though, I’d also be perfectly happy if he just showed up.
My family was sitting in all corners on the subject of my pregnancy. Blanche was still being very cold to me. Mom swanned around the castle every day with a big, goofy grin on her face, making preparations for the baby despite my father’s constant reminders that Snow and I would likely be going to stay with Knox.
