Aira’s POV It turned out that maintaining a raging blizzard took a lot out of me, even when it was just a small area outside of one window. It was just a constant drain on every inch of me that no amount of food or sleep could replenish. Sleep was only half a night for now while Blanche and I took turns keeping the snow blowing. We could never be sure when Knox might wake up in the wee hours and decide to peek out his curtains. We were both sure that if he saw a break in the blizzard, he’d leave immediately.
