Annalise tries to turn away, but instead finds herself looking directly at Jacob. He comes up face to face with her and presses closer, doesn't stop as she slides out from Brenton's lap. He only stops when his arm has her trapped between his right arm on one side and Brenton on the other, with Jacob blocking her in from the front and taking up almost her entire line of vision.
"She was thinking we wouldn't want her like that." Jacob must have some special power that allowed him to understand what was catching her up so badly.
