Watching her peacefully sleep was actually quite relaxing. I had Adeline bring me a coffee as I combed through her hair with my fingers. The others all left one by one to work on their duties. Finn had one more portion of the remedy and he's probably resting now in his own room.
'Ester' gives me a curious look as I gaze upon her soulful blue eyes, even if they seem dull at first glance, I see a fire within them
“Do you know where my van is?” My eyes go dark as I stare at her. Why is she asking about that now?
“Yes.” I answer her question, but she just stares at me in anticipation of the remainder of her implied question.
“Can you take me there?” Her small voice brings this calmness over me that I withhold from her notice.
“Why?” ‘Ester’ looks down immediately and nibbles
