"They would never do such a thing!" I gasped at the familiar voice as we neared the light. Felix was walking right behind me. Our boots didn't make a sound as we hurried through the cave.
"You didn't know them like I did! Annabella, that witch, took Alaina away from me! She was mine!" Erin shouted. We came to the light. Erin was standing with his back to us. Fergus stood directly in front of him with his hands on Erin's collar.
"Alaina is not some object you can keep!" Fergus yelled back and shoved Erin. Erin stumbled back. Erin charged at him and slammed into Fergus's massive chest. With a grunt, Fergus took the force and slammed his knee into Erin's chest. Erin fell to his knees and Fergus grabbed Erin's hair and lifted his head up.
