He opened his eyes.
-Huh? – He looked at his hands – Where am I? – He noticed they were a lot smaller and weren't gray.
-Isvell, you finally woke up. – Said an older woman in a soothing voice – Breakfast is ready, come before its hot. – She giggled.
-Mother? – Thought Isvell, he ran to her – MOM, MOM! – He started to tear up.
-What's wrong? – She got confused. She still made a kind smile, kneeled and put her hands on the shoulders of weeping Isvell – Did you have a nightmare? Don't worry everything is alright, I'm here for you.
Isvell tightly hugged back and closed her eyes. He felt something was off. He opened his eyes. Suddenly, he was running in the middle of a burning city with his mother pulling him and his younger sister away.
-What's going on? – Said scared Isvell.
Her mother just briefly turned her head, but didn't respond. Everything around was burning in hellish fire. The sky was red. Other elves were running and screaming too. Someone accidentally bumped into Isvell and his family, making them fall down on the ground. Isvell looked up and saw a red-skinned monster. He was quickly flew high in the sky, wearing black clothes. From his arms, he was spewing fire, laughing hysterically while burning everything and everyone in his sight. Screams of agony echoed throughout the fallen city. He turned his head and noticed the knocked down family. He made and evil grin and pointed his hand at them.
-AAH! – Jetos woke up. He started looking around – Where am I?
He saw his left arm was missing and he was chained up with some magic chains. He screamed from fear. He looked at his body and saw he had gray skin.
-WHAT HAPPENED TO ME? – He thought.
He was in some kind of chamber, being barely light up by torches. Jetos was panicking and sweating. Suddenly, from the entrance door he saw a silhouette of a man walking in.
-Who are you? – Asked the man while slowly walking up to him.
-Uh, my name is Isvell Limaris! I am an adventurer in Nissel! – Said Jetos in a trembling voice.
-What is the last thing you remember?
-Hokori-kun? Is that you? – Asked Jetos.
The man came out of the shadows.
-Isvell-kun, is that really you? – Said Duster in a relieved voice.
-YES! – Enthusiastically answered Jetos – I think this is a misunderstanding? What happened to your face?
-What is the last thing you remember? – Asked Duster.
-What? Um... - His head started to hurt – I was with you in the restaurant, and umm... - Jetos head was aching badly – I can't remember.
-It really is you... - Said Duster and walked up, standing straight in front of Jetos. He clenched his fist – Let me be honest with you. – He said in a, sad, but angry voice.
-What's wrong? – Asked nervous Jetos.
-Well, you are now the sixth Great Ruination, Ruination Of Night. They were going to call you the Ruination Of Destruction, but that title is already taken by the second Great Ruination, Aedos.
Jetos got confused. He was lost for words.
-You weren't yourself Isvell-kun, you were someone else. – Dusters voice was trembling.
-W-what do you mean Hokori-kun? – Jetos nearly had a panic attack. He started gasping for air.
Duster pointed his finger towards his broken face.
-You did this to me! At the castle where the Gem Of Life was guarded. You killed EVERYONE there and revived someone!
Jetos head started to spin.
-AAHG! – He shouted in agony.
Duster started to leave.
-You will never be able to leave this place. – He said in a cold voice while heading towards the exit – Oh and by the way. – He briefly turned around – You weren't given the title of a Great Ruination because of your powers. In terms of raw PL, you aren't even close to the fifth. You were given the title because you killed tens of millions of innocent people.
-What!? – Jetos couldn't figure out what was going on.
-Until I figure out how I can lift your curse, you will be staying here by your own. – Said Duster in a sad tone, bit his lip and waved his hand.
-NO, DON'T LEAVE ME! – Shouted Jetos – I DID NOTHING WRONG, SAVE ME!
Duster left the room.
-You were right, it was the curse. – Said Sukoda while leaning on the cold wall – Are you sure you will be able to lift it? After all Its made by the fourth Great Ruination, Ruination Of Manipulation.
-I will try. – Answered Duster – Did you find her?
-We searched the whole country, there are no traces of her even existing. – Said Sukoda in an angry voice – She is good. We will still find and bring the end to her.
-Great. – Said Duster and disappeared in thin air.
-He isn't like his usual self. – Thought Sukoda – Jetos really was close to him.
*Meanwhile in Nissel*
-Uh, where do you want to go? – Asked nervous Whitebolt.
-I told you that YOU – Harumi put his finger on Whitebolt nose – should decide. – She was wearing her prettiest dress for this special occasion
-Okay follow me. – Said Whitebolt and started walking forward.
-Fine! – Said Harumi and tightly hugged his arm.
Whitebolts face turned red, but he continued forwards, trying to find an appropriate place for a date. They went and ate in a fancy restaurant.
-Food here is so tasty! – Said Harumi while filling her mouth.
-Still nothing compared to my maids. – Thought Whitebolt.
After, they visited some places they could have fun. They strolled by in the park. It was already nighttime. The two moons rose. Their moonlight brightly shone the park. Harumi placed her head on Whitebolt shoulder.
-Didn't you enjoy this day? – Asked Harumi.
-Yeah. – Answered Whitebolt.
-We should go out more often.
-Yeah...
-Hey! – Harumi stood up – Answer me properly! - She pouted.
-Fine fine! – Whitebolt stood up too – I had a great day thanks to you.
-Aaand? – Harumi slowly walked up to her and got really close to his face.
-And we should go out more often. – Whitebolt sighed.
Harumi made a bright face and giggled.
-Goodbye! – She shouted as she ran off.
-She is more weirder than when she was a child. – Chuckled Whitebolt and headed towards the mansion. When he arrived, maids greeted him. Rekka suddenly ran to him.
-Where were you today!? I wanted to spar again! – He said while punching his hand and smiling.
-I was busy. – Answered Whitebolt and went up the stairs – We can train tomorrow.
-Oh, okay. – Calmly said Rekka – Is it me, or he is acting a bit, different. More, happier? – He thought. He headed towards his bedroom.
When they both left, maids started whispering to each other.
-I noticed him with Harumi today!
-Did he notice you too?
-No!
-They will totally marry.
They started giggling. One maid approached them with an annoyed face.
-The mansion isn't going to clean itself. – She said with a menacing aura.
Other maids got terrified and returned to their work.
