From the window, sunlight shined on Rekkas eyes, waking him up. He yawned and stood up. He put on proper clothes and went to eat breakfast. Rekka noticed maids were worried. He was worried about Whitebolt too. After he ate, he thanked the maids and left the mansion. He was thinking if he should've visited his friends at the park. He acknowledged what he did yesterday was wrong, and decided to pay a visit. He got used to people looking at him with disgust. He entered the park and saw his friends haven't arrived yet.
-I should train a little. – Thought to himself Rekka.
He saw a tree. It was in about thirty meters. He took a stance and threw a fireball. It couldn't reach it. He then thought of an idea. He threw an another fireball. When it was about to disappear, with fire manipulation, he moved it further, making it hit the tree.
-Yes. – He clenched his fist and smiled.
He made the fire disappear.
-Wow. I didn't know you could do that.
Rekka jumped and turned around. It was Kaito.
-Kaito, you scared me! – Said Rekka.
Kaito giggled.
-You can throw them so far! – Kaito was praising Rekka.
-Thanks.
Kaito started to slowly approach Rekka with a weird look.
-Kaito? – Nervously said Rekka.
Kaito jumped and tried to catch Rekka. Rekka jumped away and Kaito fell on the grass.
-Ouch. – Said Kaito.
-Why did you try to tackle me! – Said Rekka with an irritated voice.
-For you to not run away again! – Kaito stood up and brushed off dirt from his knees.
-Oh. I won't run away again
-Why were you running? You even disappeared for days!
-I... Needed to train... - Said Rekka in a frail tone.
-If you don't want to tell us what happened, that's okay. But don't run away again like that!
-Okay.
-Now show me your magic again. – Said Kaito with excitement.
Rekka threw a fireball in the air. He then made it stop and kept it there for three seconds.
-Cool. How can I do that? – Asked Kaito.
-I... Don't actually know. Creating fire now is as easy as breathing to me.
-Is it why you changed your appearance?
-No... I was born like this... - Said saddened Rekka.
-Was your father a demon? – Kaito was getting intrigued.
-I vaguely remember my family.

They looked ahead and saw it was Sora with Maeko.
-Sora! – Kaito waved his hand
Sora and Maeko went them.
-You! – Sora put his finger on Rekkas chest – Why were you running away!
-Stop it Sora. – Said Kaito – He told me it was a secret.
-That's not an excuse.
-It's okay Sora. – Said Maiko – Let's play.

The army of monsters was approaching the city. Adventurers and Guards tried to fend them off. Nearly half of them died. They suddenly felt the ground shake.
-What is that thing. – Said the guard in despair.
Countless people were dying in his sight. The monsters number wasn't decreasing. Whitebolt was nearing the city of Mal. He could feel the ground shake.
