Rekka was falling.
-Not again... - He thought.
This time, he fell on the ground quickly.
-What a... Pity... - Rekka heard a deep voice.
-Go away! I have defeated you with Whitebolt! – Screamed Rekka.
Hell flames appeared everywhere.
-HAH! YOU THINK SUCH A WEAK SEAL CAN HOLD ME BACK!?
-W-what do you m-mean. – Rekka started backing off and got nervous.
-Kid... YOU CAN'T EVEN FATHOM THE IMMENCE POWER I HAVE! YOU THINK A TINY SEAL CAN SAVE YOU?
The fires got brighter.
-No... No, no, no, NO, NO!
-FOR WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEAL ME? YOU ARE SO WEAK, WITHOUT ME YOU WOULD'VE DIED LONG AGO!
-You killed my loved ones! You're a demon! – Rekka screamed in tears.
-SO WHAT? I HEAL YOUR WOUNDS AND I PROTECT YOU! YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL!
-Without you, I could've lived a normal life!
The flames started to disappear.
-So that's how it is... Be it your way... Kid...
-Wha... What do you mean? – Rekka calmed down.
-If you die... I'll be free... I won't help you to survive anymore.
-You will leave me alone? – Rekka wiped off the tears.
-If I get the chance to take over... I will...
Flames went away.
Rekka jumped up. He was in the basement. He was sweating. The boy looked down and saw the chains were gone. On his left chest was a black star looking seal. In the middle of it, there was something that resembled a keyhole. He barely got up the stairs, as he was weakened. After Rekka got up, he saw a young maid cleaning.
-Help... Me... - Rekka mumbled out the words.
The maid noticed the weird weakened boy.
-My god! – She said and rushed to aid the boy – You must be Rekka. Let me take you somewhere you can rest.
She took the boy to the living room. It was a big room. She laid Rekka on a couch.
-I'll call Whitebolt. You stay here.
The maid left. Rekka analyzed what the demon said and tried to create a fireball, but couldn't. In the meantime, Whitebolt came.
-Are you feeling okay kid? The seal is active. – He noticed that Rekka had a worried face.
-I, I can't use magic anymore! – Rekkas hand started shaking.
He looked at it as if it was bleeding.
-Isn't that good for you? You can now lead a normal life. – Said Whitebolt.
-Yes, but... I don't feel like myself when I can't use magic.
-Wait for me.
Whitebolt went down in the basement and returned with scrolls.
-Let's check your powers again.
Rekka put his hands on the scroll. He could barely emit MP.
-It's blue this time. – Thought Whitebolt. – Let's see.
Whitebolt checked the LVL and PL. He sighed.
-Listen, Rekka. I don't want to disappoint you but... Look at it yourself. – Whitebolt handed over the scrolls over to Rekka.
Rekka opened them. His eyes started to tear up and he could barely hold the scrolls from the shaking of his hands.
-No magic... 1500 Pl...
Whitebolt tried to calm down the crying boy. He sat next to him and put his hand on Rekkas shoulder.
-Sorry, I can't remove the seal. I can at least help you regain magic. Your physical abilities from your training are the same.
-It's... Not the seal...
Rekka told Whitebolt his encounter with the demon. He couldn't believe the little kids words.
-The seal shouldn't be worthless. If you went berserk from emotions, now, you will need a stronger switch.
-What to do? My training, my experience, it has all gone to a waste.
-Remember what I told you when I first met you? – Whitebolts tone got more serious – Crying won't change anything. If you want to regain your powers, I WILL train you and help you get it back.
Rekka stopped crying and his face got brighter. One maid walked in.
-Rekka, I brought cookies for you. – The maid kindly smiled.
-Thanks! – Said Rekka and took one of them.
-Rest for today. I will let you explore my place. Tomorrow, we will start training.
Rekka slept for a while. After he woke up. Whitebolt gave him proper clothes and showed the kid his mansion.
-This place is so big! – Rekka was amazed.
-I wasn't rich from the start. This all bear fruit from my hard work. You can have a house this big too, if you try hard enough.
Rekka smiled and nodded his head. When it got dark, Whitebolt gave Rekka a spare room and they went to sleep. Rekka was excited for the upcoming day.
