Chapter 67: Speed Elite

The elite guard rapidly spun and hit Jetos multiple times.

-Cursed Armor, this will be hard for me. – Said the elite guard and jumped back.

Jetos extended his Void Arm and tried to cut the elite guard in half with it's claws, but he just ran aside and with impressive speed.

-He is faster than the elite guard I fought in Mal. – Thought Jetos.

In the tight corridor, Jetos used both of his Void Arms, waving them around. The elite guard ran on walls with ease with his speed. He tried to pierce Jetos armor and Void Arms, but couldn't. He dodged Jetos attack, ducked, put both of his swords in front and dashed like light. He appeared behind Jetos. Jetos touched his face and realized his left cheek was cut and it was bleeding. Jetos looked back, but the elite guard dashed again, this time cutting his forehead.

-Enough! – Shouted Jetos.

He let out purple mist and disappeared in it.

-I might be in trouble. – Though the elite guard and started running away.

He looked behind and saw Void Arms were chasing him. He turned on the corner, making the arms hit the wall, destroying it. More arms came. The elite guard was running, trying to find a spacious place. He finally reached an empty space on the side of the castle. It was outside, making the battle easier for the elite guard. The mist came from the corridor. Pink eyes were shining through, not showing anything else. Multiple Void Arms came, aiming at the elite guard. In this space, he dodged everything easily. Jetos came out of the mist. The elite guard was standing far away from him, catching his breath. Jetos lifted and massively extended his Void Arm. He used it like a whip.

-Who is he? – Thought the elite guard – I can't win if I battle on defensive.

He crossed his swords in the air, making them shine brightly. He started running with greater speeds, dragging his swords on the ground, making sparks. He jumped in the air and spun both of his sword, resembling somewhat of a drill. Jetos just raised his arm and blocked the incoming attack with his Void Arm. Jetos backed off at let out more purple mist.

-I must admit, - Jetos voice echoed through the mist – if not for the crystal I found, I would've been dead from the start.

The elite guard couldn't see Jetos in the mist. Void Arms came from all sides. He dodged them with pure instinct and battle experience.

-This black crystal empowers magic spell defense. You may think it is useless, but for me, it makes my magic UNPIERCEBLE AND UNBREAKABLE! – Jetos laughed.

The elite guard was running out of stamina. He tried to run away and headed toward the exit. He saw a portal was created to block it, letting out more monsters from it. The elite guard killed Bebels and Dark Golems while dodging Jetos Void Arms in the purple mist. He knew he couldn't keep up. He ran towards the edge and jumped off. Void Arms followed him, but the altitude was too fast for them to catch up. After he gained distance, he pierced the castle walls with his swords. He started slowly dropping down, cutting the walls. Void Arms broke through from the inside. He took one of the swords and blocked them with it. He took the other one and started running on the side of the wall, blocking Void Arms with one of his swords. Once he was about to fall, he leaped ahead. He rapidly spun to dodge and block Jetos attacks. He fell on the entrance bridge, where he met backup elite guard, adventurers and guards. With a tired face, the elite guard looked behind and saw Void Arms weren't following him anymore. He tried to catch his breath when another elite guard approached him.

-Sokuda-san? Where is the enemy? – Asked the elite guard.

-He is heading towards the gem. – Said Sukoda, took out his long swords and ran with speed even the elite guard couldn't react to.

-QUICKLY, FOLLOW HIM! – Shouted the elite guard and others followed.
