Chapter 91: Bitter Revenge

-Father, Mother, my little sister, I will avenge you all. – Said Jetos and created portals behind him.

-Don’t disappoint me Jetos! – Shouted Juwy and dashed forwards.

-Void Consumption, EMEDIS!

Countless Void arms attacked Juwy. She didn’t stop her momentum. Pointing her spear forwards, she cut the arms and jumped in the air. She giggled and was about to pierce Jetos head, but he let out purple mist and disappeared. Juwy fell on the ground and started looking around. She got punched in the face. Angry, she started spinning her spear around, making the mist scatter. Juwy turned around and saw Jetos about to rip her head off, but she ducked and cut his stomach.

-AH! – Shouted Jetos. He had a fearsome face.

-I could’ve won this fight already, but instead, let’s have some, - She ran forwards – FUN!

Jetos and Juwy started exchanging blows. The woman was chopping the Void Arms like thin paper. She had the upper hand. Jetos jumped back and tried to recover. Juwy smiled and pierced the ground with her magical spear.

-Not this. – Thought Jetos.

Spears started coming out of the ground at a fast pace. Jetos could dodge some of them, but he got his leg cut by one and fell down. Juwy approached the fallen warrior and looked down on him.

-Is that all you got? I have been waiting for a whole year, what a disappointment. – She raised her spear – You fought well.

Jetos hasn’t given up yet. He let out purple mist again.

-I won’t lose this easily!

-That’s more like it. – Said Juwy.

Even more Void Arms attacked here. Some came from the ground, some came from even the ceiling. Juwy ran as the arms chased her around. She turned near the wall. The Void Arms couldn’t rotate fast enough so they destroyed it. The woman cut them and started heading towards where they came from. She swung her spear and even though she couldn’t see him, cut Jetos once again. This time, it was a mortal wound. Jetos couldn’t keep up with her speed. They started exchanging blows once more, but Juwy was landing clean shots. Jetos fell on the ground, covered in cuts and bruises. He tried to stand up, but the woman pierced his hand and pinned him on the ground.

-I’m sorry for you. You really haven’t done anything wrong. However, this is the path you chose, you will pay the consequences. – Juwy giggled – Goodbye Jetos, my boy.

-No… - Thought Jetos – Not now…

He couldn’t get up. The curse was working on him. Juwy suddenly got startled. She held back and turned around. Nobody was there.

-Goodbye my queen.

Someone whispered in her ear and she felt a touch.

-NOOOO! – She screamed as she turned into dust.

Jetos looked in disbelief.

-Hokori-san?

-Isvell-kun, you have gotten yourself in trouble without me again? – Duster giggled – Come, get up. – He lent out a hand.

Unexpectedly, they heard a laugh echo through the castle halls.

-Nice try adventurer, but that isn’t enough to take down a Great Ruination.

Duster and Jetos suddenly got blinded by a shining green light.

-What’s going on!? – Shouted Hokori.

-This is her magic, it was an illusion all along! – Answered Isvell.

-Now then, the battle should be little more fair.

The boys dropped their jaws. Juwy walked in with two spears in her hands.

-How are you still alive!? – Shouted Duster.

-A magician never reveals his secrets. – She giggled.

She dashed and in a split second, nearly killed Duster. If he hadn’t turned into dust a little earlier, he would’ve died.

-Nice reaction. – Said Juwy.

She was on a whole another level from earlier.

-She was holding back all along. – Jetos clenched his fists and finally stood up – Sorry Hokori-san, because of me, you will get hurt.

-Don’t worry. – Duster smiled – We have backup.

Juwy and the others suddenly got filled with fear. A man with heavy silver armor and a purple cape walked in.

-Oh my, what do we have here? – He had a kind smile – My son called me for help, and what do I see?

-Who is he? – Juwy was terrified. She was trembling.

-He's my father. – Said Duster.

Junkara smiled.

-Okay then.

He suddenly appeared behind Juwy, chopping of her head. Her lifeless body fell on the ground.

-Come out. – Said Junkara in a serious voice and hit the ground with his leg, shattering it.

Jetos couldn’t speak. He was at a loss for words. With all of her speed, Juwy fled.

-That man, he is nearly as terrifying as Aedos!

-Want me to chase her? – Asked Junkara in a kind voice.

-Go on. – Nervously answered Duster.

Junkara nodded and walked out of the room. Injured Jetos and Duster were left alone in a destroyed castle, processing what was going on.
