Chapter 25: Mistake

Daichi was worried. He was heading to an unknown place with unknown people. Daichi was of course grateful that he was saved, but he was worried about Rekka. He thought they would do something weird to him, however, Daichi believed in the little boy's strength.
-Excuse me – Said Daichi in a worried voice – Sorry if it's a rude question, but what tier are you people.
Yua smiled and Touma laughed.
-No worries! – Said Touma – We are mid PL Tier 7's. But Hideo here has 10,000 PL!
-PL? – Asked confused Daichi.
-You guys don't know? – Touma got confused too – It translates to power level, I have 8,000 and Yua has 7,000. Yua is a healer though, so getting your PL high is much harder.
-How do you test your strength? – Asked Daichi.
-Well... - Touma forgot.
-You test it on scrolls. – Said Yua – There are two kinds, one tests your magic LVL, other checks your PL.
Hideo was getting more and more irritated listening to them. Soon, they arrived at the place of their destination. It was full of huts and camps. A big building was in the middle of them. There were large crowds of adventurers.
-Hi there you guys! – Someone waved to them.
Adventurers waved back. He saw the weird kid behind Touma and came close to him.
-Who is he? – Asked the adventurer.
-He is a boy who we saved. – Answered Touma - He is not someone to be messing with! We saw him fight off three bebels, alone!
-You must be seeing things again! – Said the adventurer, laughed it off and went away.
-I will lead the old man to the nursery. – Said Yua – The kid is exhausted, but I completely healed all of his injuries. Take care of him well.
-No, wait! – Said Daichi nervously – I want to be with the kid.
-Don't worry. – Yua tried to calm down the old man – These two can keep him safe.
-Don't worry sir! We will take care of him! – Responded Touma with confidence.
Daichi was anxious, but still followed the young woman.
-Lets head to the dining room! – Touma said while rubbing his stomach – I haven't eaten anything the whole day!
-*Sigh* what about the boy? – Said Hideo.
-He will be fine!
Hideo got annoyed, but he still went. On the way, Rekka woke up from the noise.
-*Yawn* where are we? – The boy was still tired.
Touma smiled.
-Aren't you hungry? We are going to eat.
Rekka stomach growled and Touma laughed. When they got there, the place was full of people. They found an open table and sat down.
-I'm going to get food. – Said Hideo and left.
Touma and Rekka were left alone.
-Who are you, boy? You seemed amazing in battle with bebels!
Rekka kept silent.
-Not talkative huh. – Said Touma – At least tell me your name.
-Rekka... - Said the boy quietly.
-Don't be shy kid – Touma smiled – You have nothing to worry of.
Hideo came back with dinner and they started eating. Suddenly, three grown men approached the kid from behind. One of them said in a rude tone.
-Well, what do we have here? – He forcefully turned the kid around and saw his face – I don't like demi humans around me, get out!
Rekka got annoyed and got up. Touma got mad and stood up, banging on the table. Hideo tried to calm him down, but it was futile.
-Okemia! – He screamed – What problem do you have with him.
The man looked over and saw Touma clenching his fists.
-Isn't it, what were you called again? Touma right! – Okemia was talking down on him – What are you doing with this – He pushed the little boy, making him hurt his leg – filthy demi human.
The two men behind him laughed at the boy. Rekka started to tear up.
-That's it! I've had ENOUGH! – Shouted now furious Touma.
-Itching for a fight I see, come at me! – Said the adventurer and took a fighting pose.
Touma tackled him, but Okemia quickly got free and punched him in the face. Touma lost control, but got on his legs and started to hurl punches back. They fought like wild beasts fighting over food. Others saw the fight and tried to stop them, but the two grown men stopped them from going. Okemia got the upper hand and started to chokehold Touma. Touma started to hit the grown man's stomach with his elbow, but started to run out of air.
-Is that all you have little man! – Screamed Okemia and he let go of Touma before he passed out – Weak! – He said and spat on Rekka.
The two men behind laughed and some adventurers even joined.
-Get out of here you disgusting creature! – He kicked Rekka and the kid coughed blood.
The man suddenly was knocked away by strong wind and he hit his head. It was Hideo.
-What do you want punk! You're on his side? – He grabbed Rekka by his hair and pulled him up. Rekka was in immense pain and started crying and screaming – Come and save this excuse of a living being, that is, if you can!
-I don't want to save the boy, but what you are doing is wrong! – Said Hideo in a menacing tone.
-Come and stop me if you have a problem! – He screamed and threw the boy at a nearby wall.
Rekka got knocked out cold. Hideo got mad and blew the people away with wind. He took tables and chairs in the air and threw them at Okemia. It cut the man's arm, but the man stood up and rushed to Hideo.
-Wind control, tornado! – Screamed Hideo.
The man flew up and started spinning uncontrollably. Okemia started to scream. Hideo then put his hand up.
-Cancel. – Said Hideo and adjusted his glasses.
The msn fell to the ground with his back.
-YOU PUNK! – Screamed Okemia – How dare you humiliate me in front of these people! – He started running towards Hideo.
-Enough! – A well-clothed man in white went inside the building. He had blonde hair, but had a tint of black. Okemia stopped and kneeled. Cold silence embed the room. The man looked around and saw Touma and a beat up boy lying down, covered with blood. – Okemia, you aren't going away unscathed with this.
-NO! PLEASE! I WAS FORCED TO DO IT! – Okemia pleaded mercy.
The man snapped his fingers. Okemia started intensely shaking and screaming. He got knocked out.
-You people call yourselves adventurers! – Man pointed his hand to the people – You cannot even protect an innocent child-getting beat up right in front you!
Daichi and Yua heard the commotion and went to the dining hall. Old man saw bloodied Rekka and rushed to him.
-Rekka! Rekka! Wake up Rekka! – He checked and saw his heart was still beating. Daichi got relieved – Yua, come help!
She started healing the boy. The air around started to get hot.
