Rekka walked around the city by the ocean. Rekka thought the place was beautiful, maybe even more than Limasse. Most of the city was already restored, because the houses here were smaller.
-Daichi should be here by the corner. – Said Whitebolt – I came here a lot when I was younger with Harumi. A lot changed in these five years.
Rekka didn't respond. After walking for about thirty minutes, they reached a small house with two floors. Whitebolt knocked on the wooden door.
-Daichi told me he lived here, strange.
-You guys, - One old man came to them – what business do you have here? – He walked with a cane.
-We can to visit Ueda Daichi, is he absent? – Asked Whitebolt.
-Daichi-kun, he isn't in the city. – Said the old man.
-What? Where is he? – Whitebolt got worried.
-When the invasion happened. A lot of families packed their belongings and sailed into the ocean. Daichi-kun and his family did the same too, and now, are in the middle of the ocean.
-When will he come back?
The old man pointed his cane at Rekka.
-Who are you young boy? You are an interesting looking human.
-Oh, I'm Asahi Rekka, nice to meet you. – Rekka suddenly bowed. He didn't expect the old man to talk to him.
-Hmm. Well, Daichi might not come back this year.
-What? The winter just ended! – Whitebolt was surprised.
-He took supplies that can last for a couple of months. Daichi will also probably visit and stay somewhere else for a while.
-Okay, thanks for your time.
The old man slowly walked away. Rekka was beyond happy.
-My wish came true! – Thought Rekka and made a happy pose.
-Rekka, what you are doing is wrong.
-Huh, what? – Rekka got confused.
-You aren't appreciating the things Daichi did for you. He saved you twice, and you don't even want to meet him. – Whitebolt had disappointed face.
Rekka though about Whitebolts words.
-Twice? – Asked Rekka.
-Once when he found you in Highhelm, Tow, and the other... - He sighed and looked at Rekka with serious eyes – From me.
-From you? – Rekka got scared.
-It was when I first met you. When you went berserk. I barely defeated you and tried to kill you, but Daichi stopped me.
Rekka recalled that he fought someone when he went berserk that time, but couldn't remember it well. He also heard from Hideo that Whitebolt tried to kill him, but he thought he was crazy and was lying.
-I didn't think about that... - Said kind of depressed Rekka.
-You should appreciate people around you more. – Whitebolt pointed his head to one direction – Come, let's find a hotel, we will return home tomorrow.
Rekkas happiness suddenly changed to sorrow as the realized his wrongdoings. He saw returning to Daichi as a punishment, when in reality, it was nothing. The walked through the city during nighttime. It was more beautiful than ever. Lighting covered the streets and places closed during the day were now open. Rekka passed a night bar. He looked inside and saw a man with a long black coat and a black hat. He started to remember someone, but couldn't and brushed it off.
-I'm glad I spared you. – Thought the man and started to smoke a cigar – You will become the person... I couldn't be.
Whitebolt and Rekka entered the hotel. The place was massive, standing out it the city. They booked a room and stayed the night there. When Rekka went asleep, Whitebolt went out for a walk. He remembered all the places he and Harumi visited.
-I should apologize to her. – He thought and sighed.
The next day, Rekka walked to Whitebolt with a serious face.
-I'll stay and wait for Daichi! – Rekka was dead serious.
-No. – Coldly answered Whitebolt.
-What, why?
-You are far too young, and Daichi won't be coming back for a while. We will return in winter.
-Okay... - Rekka was determined to stay.
They started to head back. On the way, Whitebolt said to him.
-When we get back, let's train again. – He smiled.
Rekka nodded his head and in two day, they returned.
