Rekka woke up on a black floor. He stood up and started to check himself for injuries. He looked around and realized he was in his consciousness. For some reason, it felt different this time. As if, there was no pressure on him. -Hey... Rekka heard a voice that resembled the deep voice he was hearing when he came here. Again, it was different. It wasn't as deep, and this time, instead from hearing it from everyone, he knew where it came. He turned around. He was shocked to see him. -Y-you! You are the demon! – Said Rekka with a shaking voice. -Don't calm me names... You will regret it... You don't know what I am. Rekka saw a man with a toned body. He didn't look ordinary. When Rekka observed him, he noticed resemblances. He had the same colored attributes. He had crimson colored skin and bright orange eyes. His red canine teeth were sharper than knives. He had long dark red, almost black hair covering his ears. He had a black earring with a red crystal on his left ear. He wore a short black coat without a shirt. He had black jagged pants and black boots with crystals on it. Rekka wasn't scared of him though. He was on a white, shining wall, impaired with two chains on each limb. They looked like the chains he had, but emitted much more holy powers. -I can't believe... You actually sealed me... - He had a small, deadly smile. Rekka calmed down when he saw no flames were appearing. -You, you made me look this this! – Said Rekka. -There were... Some things I couldn't hide. – He said in a deep voice. -You killed too many innocent people. He closed his eyes, rolled over his head and laughed. -Don't you think these chains can hold me here forever. YOU'RE LUCKY IM WEAKENED! -These chains will be enough. I WILL become strong and defeat you! – Screamed Rekka with confidence. He made a sarcastic smile. -You underestimate me... Don't compare me to the weak... Oh... I haven't introduced myself to you in all eight years... My name is Oneiros Worvelheim. -I have read multiple books about demons, I haven't heard that last name! – Shouted Rekka. Suddenly, Oneiros eyes went ablaze. -THEN, YOU HAVE HEARD THE NAME PEOPLE FEARED! I, AM THE DEMON LORD AEDOS, SLAYER OF AMATERASU! I WARNED YOU TO NOT COMPARE ME WITH A MORTAL RACE! -You're lying! You look like a human! -This is nothing more than a mortal form I had to keep. – He started laughing – If I unleashed my real powers, YOU WOULD'VE BEEN DEAD! -Why aren't you killing me then! – Rekka started to tear up. Oneiros put his head down. His hair covered his face. Rekka could only see his evil grin. -Why do we have to watch over him? -Because Whitebolt-sama told us to. -But I nee... -Shush! He is starting to open his eyes. Rekka woke up. His head was a mess. -Are you okay Rekka-san? Want me to get some water for you? – Asked one flustered maid. -Yes please. Rekka could barely move. Every inch of his body was in pain from the enormous strain the seal has put on him. Whitebolt walked in the room. -How are you feeling Rekka? You slept for a whole week. – Said Whitebolt. He sat down on the couch near Rekkas bed. -My body is in pain. -*Tsk* Duster said the seal wouldn't harm you. – Whitebolt started to get angry. -No, it's like that. – Rekka tried to calm him down – I'm just tired. Can we talk alone for a little. Whitebolt signed the maids to leave. They left. -What's wrong? – Asked Whitebolt. Rekka clenched his fists around the blanket. -I've met him again. This time, I could see him. -Continue. Rekka explained his nightmare. -He said his name was Oneiros, I can't remember his last name. I think it was Worvelheim. -I haven't heard that name. – Whitebolt was trying trying to remember if he heard of the demons name. -He said that was his real name, but people called him demon lord Aedos, the slayer of, Amaterasu, as I remember. Whitebolts facial expression suddenly changed. He look terrified, as if Rekka died in front of him. He tried to not show his emotions, but couldn't this time. -Did you hear him right? Are you telling the truth? -Yes? Why? – Rekka got scared too. -No way it's him... -Who is Aedos? – Rekka was getting worried. -Aedos is one of the five Great Ruinations. He is said to be one of the strongest too. -Great Ruinations? -They were people, no, they are not even worthy to be called living beings. They made the earth where we live living hell for mortals. Aedos brought terror to our continent Sigin. He wiped out countries and burned hundreds of thousands people alive. For a second, out of fear, Rekka couldn't breathe. Whitebolt continued. -Five hundred years ago, he was defeated by a Tier 2 adventurer in Highhelm. It was said that both of them died in the battle. For the respect of the adventurer, they named the city Highfalls. It is broken down as high falls, as of the mighty fallen ones. Rekka started shaking. -That's where I w-was born. I look like him too. Whitebolt placed his hand on Rekkas shoulder. -Listen. That seal will keep him there for a long time. In the meanwhile, you can become strong enough to defeat him. -TO DEFEAT HIM? YOU TOLD ME IT TOOK A TIER 2 ADVENTURER TO KILL HIM! -What guarantee do you have that you won't become as, or even stronger than that adventurer. You are only 8 years old and strong enough to become a Tier 7! Don't give up hope. Remember, there are people around you too. You are not alone. Rekka calmed down after his speech. The next day, after Rekka fully recovered, they resumed training. Rekka hit the wall first try this time. He did it multiple times after too. -I did it! – Screamed Rekka in happiness. Whitebolt chuckled and smiled. -You gained even more control on your magic after he was sealed again. Training should become much easier now. Congrats. Let's learn fire manipulation. Rekka was excited. He was waiting for this a long time.
