It was a beautiful day outside. The sun lightened up Limasse. Capital of Nissel started to wake up. Children went outside and ran in the streets. People went to their jobs. Rekka and Whitebolt woke up too. They ate together and sat down in the mansions garden.
-Do you want to train or go outside? – Asked Whitebolt.
-Of course I want to go outside! – Said excited Rekka.
Whitebolt stood up and said.
-Let's get going then.
Rekka went outside of the mansion for the first time. His mansion was outside the main city grounds and was in the fields. After a couple of minutes walking, Rekka saw the city.
-It's so big!
-Wait until you get inside. – Answered Whitebolt.
Whitebolt was a little nervous of people getting scared of him. They finally walked inside. Rekka was amazed about how beautiful the city was. There were tall building, shops, parks and much more. The little boy looked around, admiring the view.
-I have never seen a city this beautiful!
Whitebolt looked around. He saw some people got scared and some people gave weird looks, but most of them didn't care.
-Want to meet my friend? – Asked Whitebolt.
-Sure!
Whitebolt took him to the adventurer's guild. When he went inside, he saw the place wasn't crowded as usual. He saw one adventurer that called him a traitor, but none other who was at Rekkas demon sealing. They went to the receptionist table.
-Whitebolt-san, how can I help you? – Harumi looked down and saw the young boy – You must be Rekka. – She observed him. Instead of being scared, she looked intrigued.
-How do you know my name? – Asked confused Rekka.
She moved her hand towards Whitebolt.
-Whitebolt-san has told me everything about you.
-I've told everything to her kid. Don't worry, - Whitebolt looked at Harumi and smiled - You can trust her.
Rekka got close to Harumi and whispered.
-You even know that I have the Demon Lord Aedos, one of the five Great Ruinations sealed inside me?
Harumi screamed.
-WHAT? – She got scared. After she realized how loudly she screamed, she put her hands on her mouth.
-*Sigh* When would I have the time to tell that to her Rekka? – Said Whitebolt in an annoyed voice.
Adventurers heard the scream and looked over. One adventurer even walked to them.
-Hello Whitebolt-san! – He waved his hand and looked down – You must be Rekka-chan! I have heard about you.
Rekka got frightened. He has never talked to a stranger before. The adventurer noticed this.
-Don't be startled! I just came over to say hello. Well, I don't want to interrupt you people anymore. Goodbye! – The adventurer made a kind smile and left.
-Don't be scared of him. He is my old friend. – Whitebolt looked over to Harumi. Harumi got frightened – What was that?
-Well... - Harumi nervously laughed and put her hand behind her head – I didn't expect him saying that.
-What he said was true. But don't worry, he is sealed. I just came over to meet you. I'm exposing the city to Rekka.
-Well, good luck! – Harumi still hasn't gotten over what Rekka said – He has Aedos sealed inside of him!? How did that happen? I need to investigate this. – Thought Harumi.
-Goodbye! – Said Rekka, smiled and left.
Whitebolt and Rekka sat down in a big park. People were walking around, chatting and playing.
-I never knew the outside was so beautiful... Wish I could've went out more. – Said Rekka in a sad tone.
-You can go outside whenever you want. – Whitebolt leaned at the bench – After all, it's safe for you to go outside now.
-You saw them didn't you? – Asked Rekka.
-Saw what?
-The eyes of people who noticed me. Everyone is the same. They all get scared and want to go away whenever they see how I look. – Rekka started to tear up – I wish I looked normal.
-You should be proud about how you look – Whitebolt placed his hand on Rekkas fluffy head – No one looks like you. You are special. You should be happy that you are special. – Whitebolt stood up. Rekka looked up to him in awe. The bright sunlight was reflected by Whitebolts white suit – Ignore the people that look at you weirdly. People looked at me the same way when my hair was changed. But now, I like how I look. People respect me, and most importantly, I respect myself. You should do the same. Grow strong and learn to love yourself the way you are.
Rekka wiped the tears and nodded his head with a bright smile. They started walking through the park. A red rubber ball hit Rekka. He picked it up.
-Can you pass it over? – Screamed one boy from afar.
Rekka threw it over to the boy. The boy was amazed at Rekkas strength.
-Want to go and play with him? – Asked Whitebolt.
Rekka was anxious.
-They will get scared of me. I never played with someone my age too.
-Go ahead and try. You won't know the outcome otherwise.
-Okay... - Nervously said Rekka – Can I play with you guys? – He screamed.
They boy heard Rekka. He looked and him and saw his appearance. He saw Whitebolt standing next to him and remembered what his parents said to him when they were in elite guard Mayas city meeting.
-Sure! Come over! – Shouted the boy and rolled his hand over. He went to two of his friends: A girl and a boy.
Rekka ran to them, still anxious.
-Hey, he is the boy who passed the ball over me. He can play with us, right?
The girl looked shy, but the other boy looked extroverted.
-Sure! Why not?
Rekka resembled them to the adventurer trio he met before.
Whitebolt sat down on a bench nearby. The extroverted boy saw him. He came close to Rekka and whispered to him in his ear while pointing his finger and Whitebolt.
-Is he your dad?
Rekka got confused at first but smiled and answered.
-No, he isn't.
The boy saw Rekkas teeth.
-Wow, your teeth are cool.
-Thanks? It the first time anyone said that about my teeth... - Rekka thought to himself – Who is Whitebolt to me?
Before he could think any longer, the boy who introduced him to his friends came to him.
-My name is Sora! This big boy's name is Kaito, and her name is Maeko. You can call us by our names!
The girl seemed disturbed.
-What's your name? – Asked Kaito.
-My name is Rekka. Nice to meet you. – He smiled.
-You know how to play ball right? – Asked Sora.
-Well... - Rekka was at a loss for words.
-We just pass the ball at each other. Whoever drops it, loses. – He held the red rubber ball at the palm of his hand – Simple right?
-Yeah, I get it. – Answered Rekka.
-Alright! Let's play then! – Said Kaito in a excited voice.
Maeko still didn't say a word.
-She looks like someone I know... - Thought Rekka.
They started playing. Kaito and Sora were amazed at Rekkas agility. He didn't drop the ball once, no matter where they threw it at him.
-How are you so fast? – Asked Sora.
-I train every day to become stronger. – Confidently answered Rekka.
-You want to become an adventurer? – Asked Kaito.
-I guess.
The girl still didn't talk. They played catch, hide and seek and much more. Rekka had lots of fun.
-Rekka, it's getting dark. Time to leave. – Shouted Whitebolt.
-Seems I need to leave. – Said Rekka – Can I... - He was nervous – Play with you guys again?
-Why are you asking?
Rekka got sad.
-Of course you can! – Said Sora – We play in this park every day. You can even come tomorrow.
Rekka got relieved hearing those words.
-Okay! – He said and waved his hand – Goodbye!
He ran towards Whitebolt.
-Did you have fun? – Asked Whitebolt.
-I had lots of fun! Can I come here tomorrow too?
-Well... What about your training?
-I can train at night!
-*Sigh* Look Rekka... - Whitebolt seemed disturbed – I promised Daichi to bring you to him when I considered you safe to be around people.
Rekkas smile went away.
-And, - Whitebolt sighed - I need to bring you to him when you learn this new technique.
-NO! I want to stay here! – Screamed Rekka.
-Calm down. You can talk it out with Daichi. I can't break my promise.
Rekka was down. They went to the mansion. Rekka ate only a small amount and immediately went to bed.
-Is he okay? – Asked one maid.
-I don't know. I hope. – Answered Whitebolt.
He sat in the garden, thinking what he should do. It was really late, and he went to sleep.
*Meanwhile*
-*Tsk* This magic isn't even a fraction of his powers! – Jetos lashed out – It's okay. It will still be enough for the impending doom... - He started hysterically laughing.
