It was already day. Rekka stood up with red eyes. He cried himself to sleep that night. He couldn't stand the thought of losing everything again. He made friends, had a family figure and lived a careless, lavish life. Rekka put on clothes and thought about sneaking out of the house. He quietly proceeded through the mansions giant corridors without maids noticing him.
-I did it! – Thought Rekka with optimism when reaching the exit.
When he opened the doors, Whitebolt was standing near the fountain, testing out his magic.
-Good morning Rekka. – Said Whitebolt.
-Oh, Whitebolt... - Rekka tried to hide the fact that he tried to sneak out – Good morning.
-Are you feeling okay? Your eyes are red. – Whitebolt was concerned.
-Something must've gotten in my eyes, hehe – Giggled Rekka – I will go to the training grounds.
-Don't you want to meet your friends? – Whitebolt smiled.
Rekkas sad eyes suddenly lighted up.
-I CAN?
-You can, but not for the whole day. I will head to the dungeon. When I get back, I will pick you up.
-How soon exactly? – Rekka wanted to be outside with friends as long as he could.
-In about 3-4 hours. That will be enough time for you, right?
-I will be perfect!
-When we get back, we will continue training. Go eat breakfast now, don't waste any precious time. – Whitebolt headed towards the mansions giant gates. He turned around – Be careful outside.
-I will!
Rekka rushed inside and ate the food as fast as he could. Maids were amazed at Rekkas energy. After he ate, he thanked the maids and ran to the city. He threw fireballs in the air for fun. When he entered the city, he slowed down. Without Whitebolt around, Rekka saw that more people were looking at him with either fear or disgust. He got sad, but remembered his friends and proceeded. He went in the park and got to where they were playing last time.
-They aren't here... - Thoughts of his friends leaving him formed in Rekkas head – They said to come here tomorrow. I guess I will train in the meantime.
Rekka tried to hold a fireball in the air. This time, he was constantly reaching one second of holding it without making it fall down.
-What if I make a smaller fireball? – Thought Rekka.
He created a fireball about half the size of the ones he usually creates. He held it three seconds in the air,
-So controlling smaller amounts of MP is easier.
He continued to train this way for nearly half an hour.
-Heyy!
Rekka heard a scream and turned around, it was Kaito.
-Hello Kaito! – Rekka screamed back.
Kaito got near Rekka.
-What was that! – Asked Kaito in an excited tone.
-Was what? – Rekka got confused.
-The fire! Are those your powers?
-Oh... That... I don't know what you are talking about. – Rekka spoke weirdly, putting his hands behind his back.
-Don't lie to me, I was watching you for a while!
-Guess I can't hide it. – Rekka put his hand out and created a fireball.
-COOL! – Kaito was flabbergasted – Why did you try to hide it?
-Well, I didn't want... - Rekka didn't answer – Where are the others?
-Sora should be here soon. He told me he wanted to buy fruits and sweets. I don't know about Maeko. She doesn't come to play often. – Kaitos expression changed. He looked sad.
-Why?
-She wasn't like this. She changed after her older sister Yua died. She was beautiful and young. An adventurer too! Her party came and played with us sometimes. One guy was big and strong, I wanted to become like him. But not so long ago... - He was hesitating to continue - When we were playing, her older sisters party member came. He was always serious, but this time he was odd. He called over Maeko. Maeko suddenly started crying and ran off. Sora and I thought he hurt her and ran to him. He stopped us. Rekka was devastated. He started to get nauseous.
-Are you okay Rekka?

Rekka ran away, running away from the truth. Kaito ran after him.
-Where are you running!?
Rekka looked back with tears filled with despair running on his face.
-Come back! - Shouted Kaito.
Rekka sped up with speed magic. He ran into Sora.
-Rekka? Where are you... - Sora couldn't finish as Rekka ran passed him – Kaito, where is he running?
-I, *Huff* Don't know. – Answered Kaito while catching his breath.
Rekka ran, and ran, and ran. He was running while not knowing what he was running from. From his past, his future, guilt or his sins? He sprinted through the city while the scene of Yuas and Toumas death corrupted his mind. Rekka lost power and motivation. He stopped and ran into a dark alleyway. He sat down on the cold ground, covered in dirt and mud. He put his head on his knees and cried. Tears dropped down, making small noises.
-Rekka?
Rekka heard a feminine voice and lifted his head up. He wiped his tears and saw it was Maeko.
