  Damon sat in his study, the dim light casting shadows across his face. He stared at the photo of his brother, his mind a turbulent sea of anger and regret. The memories of the past and the recent confrontation with Lucifer replayed endlessly in his head. He knew he couldn't let Lucifer continue his reign unchallenged.   Determined, Damon picked up his phone and dialed a number he hadn't used in a long time.   "Marcus, it's Damon," he said when the line connected. "We need to meet. There's something we need to discuss- about Vladimir."   The response was immediate and serious. "Understood. I'll be there in an hour."
