I wasn't going to lie, in all honesty, I had been quite caught off guard when Reagan had told me that she accepted my proposal. Sure, I had figured that with a little persuasion on my part she might accept it but she had declared her acceptance of her own free will. Honestly, after her rejection, I had assumed that it would be the end of the situation altogether so it was no wonder that I had been so surprised by her accepting the proposal.
