BATTLE OF THE DARK WORLD

EPISODE 4 -Allyn's Family (i)

The unification of the world brought nothing but misery. The new-world-government brought together children with powers from Africa, Asia, Europe and the rest of the world. They transported them to Russia, they gave them masks and ordered them not to take them off. They erased their memories, murdered their families and gave them codes as their names.

They trained them to be assassins and collectors. They gave them orders to follow and not to question anything whatsoever. Their mission was to kill anyone who the government declared a threat to them.

Some of the codes had double entities like A1, A2, B1, and B2. They were sets of twins and the government inter-changed their codes to get rid of any suspicious thought. It was possible because the two sets of twins had different heights. Thus, the twin Sister to B1 was A2 and not B2. And the twin Sister to A1 was B2 and not A2. They were Allyn and Allynne respectively to the last set of twins.

After twelve years of training, they began killing humans that had knowledge of the dark world and collected whatever demanded. The government wanted everyone be under the bondage of Captain Marsho. They made the Codes believe that they were saving the world by killing certain humans. The Codes did just that and they remained loyal. They could only hear the voice from speakers when receiving orders but could not see who it was, or why the world leaders could not avail themselves.

Both sets of twins were female though B2 perished during training. A1 could hear anything around her but B2 had no super powers. Hence she struggled to train, and she found it difficult to fit in a squad of people with powers.

Unlike B1 who had super sight, B2 had similar powers but they were dormant. Many were the times they thought of getting rid of her, ‘let us wait.’ They said. But twenty years passed and nothing changed.

The Codes teased and maltreated her. They all had something to show but she had nothing to display and A1 constantly felt embarrassed as she kept following her, ‘You are the only one who can help me.’ She begged.

‘Each one of us is here alone, get out of my face!’ Was the reply.

Years passed and B2 had no one to stay close to, they all spent time `developing powers and some practiced on her knowing she wouldn’t do anything to them. They injured her body and laughed, for she was defenseless.

One night, negative thoughts amassed and B2 pondered committing suicide.  She could not go out to see the world, she could not uncover her face and no one wanted her close. Not to mention, she could not talk freely like any other Code. She panicked whenever she said something.

For whatever reason A1 walked to her apartment, she knocked and called but there was no response. She broke in and found she had cut her wrists and was soaked in a pool of blood.

She closed the wounds and stayed with her until morning. ‘What are you doing here?’ she asked when she gained little strength.

A1 said, ‘I will help you with training, just don’t do it again’.

‘Why do you want to help me?’

‘I don’t want to lose anyone’ she answered.

‘You care for me?’

‘It’s not like that, I just don’t want anyone to die’

When they delayed to report for training, the trainers locked them in a private chamber full of darkness for forty-eight hours.
