I was enraged and I could feel anger threatening to erupt out of me. How dare he compare me to that girl?
I walked back to him and grabbed his suit collar, "I asked you a question!" My voice thundered across the hall and he shuddered under my grasp. "What the f**k did you just say to me?"
He swallowed hard and lowered his gaze. "I... I apologize ma'am. It was a slip of the tongue."
A slip of the tongue wouldn't make him compare me to Vanessa. The thought of her being better than me only had my blood boiling in rage, I’ve never been so pissed. More reasons why I needed to get rid of her.
