Vanessa's POV:
"Yes, you, Mandy, where the hell have you been?" She demands.
I cough to make her notice me. She does so but doesn't speak. She only stares at me like I've been doing something wrong. "She was with me, is there any problem, ma'am?" I ask her politely, but she glares at me in return.
I don't worry about her. Instead, I look her up to down and smile. I've dealt with Jenny, who I know is way worse, so this can't be the end of the world. It's either there's a mixup somewhere.
Her glare stops me but I'm undeterred, I am her Luna, even if it's still unofficial, but I know that there's no way that she will be able to hurt this girl on my watch. I don't care what she wants to do. It's her business which I'm about to make mine right now.
