Vanessa's POV:
Chuck was silent about what was going and since Charles left a day ago, he hadn't returned, causing my curiosity to weigh down on me. I hate when they have to keep things away from me cause they believe I would get worried and worked up.
It was the early hours of the night and a few times, the doctors came to examine me, giving an encouraging report of getting better quickly. I was able to sit up again and I could feel my body coming into place again.
It felt so good to be back but there was something amiss in me. It's the same feeling I got when I woke up from my slumber and I thought it had something to do with me not transforming on the night of the full moon.
