Vanessa's POV:
I slowly opened my eyes, adjusting to the rays of the sun reflecting through the window. I slept for so long which got my body the deserved rest it needed.
I sat up and stretched my body, giving relief to the hard knots in my muscles and my body entirely. I felt so fulfilled and happy that morning, probably because I got the sleep I had been craving for so long.
I looked around but didn't see my mates anywhere. Chucks always makes sure he stays by my side until I wake up but he was absent which got me wondering if something bad had happened.
I quickly shook my head and tsked. He was the king of the Lycans and had a duty. I can't be his duty forever. He needed to work and not be a distraction as said by all.
I made to climb down the bed but stopped when I remembered
