Chapter 55

1257 Words

Chuck's POV: I had a feeling I was tricked and I was right. There was no one waiting for me in the garden. I rolled my fist into a ball as I thought of how the anonymous person made a fool out of me. I vowed to find him and make him pay for wasting my time. If it was a trap, he would have shown up and done something to me, but it's been thirty minutes and still, no sign of him. It only meant one thing, he purposely dragged me out of the pack house 'cause he had a business to do there. I let out a deep breath and reverted my gaze to the large building a few meters away. Charles would be able to handle whoever the person was, but I had a feeling they were going to try to find the pack's information in my office. I brought out my phone and dialed Charles' number but it was unavailable.
